In collaboration with doctors from The Centre for Wilderness Medicine, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal who are snake bite treatment specialists, The Liana Trust provides intensive training to medical personnel employed in government health facilities. 

All medical personnel in Hunsur taluk, where The Liana Trust is based, have already received training in snakebite treatment. Similar training programmes are now underway for all medical personnel in the Mysuru district. 

The trust is also working with local authorities to establish a wilderness response unit at the Tertiary Healthcare Center in Hunsur, Karnataka.
